Food Walk through the Sarafa Night Market

Background: No trip to Indore is complete without a visit to the night market at Sarafa.

This is the gold district of the city, with many jewellery shops. After the traders go home, and business district empties in the evening, the night market emerges. Hundreds of stalls come up, offering delicious vegetarian treats.

Visiting the Sarafa market is a family affair - men, women and children all flock here to enjoy the delicacies.

We will introduce you to popular local favourites. Some of the food is spicy, but there are also many non-spicy options. The desserts are also fabulous.

Although we only go to very popular places, with good local reputations, these stalls do not cook using bottled water or wash their utensils with it. So eating street food is always risky.
